about us
What Are
the ICPD 3Zeros?
At the heart of our mission lie three fundamental Zeros
Zero ‘Unmet Need’ for Family Planning and Sexual Reproductive Health (FP and SRH)
Zero Preventable Maternal Mortality
Zero Gender-Based Violence and Harmful Practices, Including Child Marriage
Why ICPD 3 Zeros Matter
Achieving SDG2030 with its guiding mission of ‘leaving no one behind’ requires adequate attention to key population goals. Mothers, adolescents, girl child, urban poor are critical demographic constituencies whose service needs and removal of barriers to realizing their potentials are key priorities on the road to SDG2030. The ICPD 3Zeros seeks to galvanize global, national and community engagement to realize these urgent goals.
What is
ICPD 3 Zeros Action Network?
The 3 Zeros Action Network is a civic platform bringing together national and grassroots organizations and actors to ignite accelerated progress toward realizing the ICPD 3 Zeroes Agenda.
The platform will pursue a triple action agenda:
01
Promote greater cross-sectoral dialogues and community engagement.
02
Strengthen knowledge management and advocacy.
03
Track progress on the realization of the 3 zeroes agenda.
